Our Birthday Celebration
After many weeks of planning, our Birthday celebrations have sadly come to an end… !
Over the course of two Open Days and our Friday night party we welcomed over 180 people into our transformed warehouse units. Within 126 square metres of normally operational workshop and storage space, we showcased a selection of our favourite looks for our lovely guests… doing what it says on the tin – transforming an ordinary place into an extraordinary space!
We firstly captured people’s attention as they walked into Morocco on arrival. With our ‘signature’ Saffron lining on towering 3m legs. This area soon became extra popular with our guests as they noticed our uber comfy Chillout Furniture tucked away in the corner. Perfect for relaxing on after a delicious feast from our stylish banqueting set up.
Once ‘Morocco’d’ out, guests moved through an Oriental experience complete with parasols and overhead pendant lights, a Buddha and bamboo bar… to our cosy Alpine chalet. Showcasing our ‘Wooden Wall Effect’ lining on our free standing pole and drape system, we finished off the look with Finishing Touches such as our snug fur throws, ski props, a twinkling Christmas tree and a comfortable day bed scattered with furs and cushions. Not forgetting the block coloured rugs – a great alternative to carpet for events with smaller budgets.
Guided by our custom made signs (making a quick pit stop for some delicious food and drinks on the way) our guests were lead into our next warehouse unit. Greeted by a sea of colours around our carnival bar, it was time to party! Our Shack Bar was the centre of cool, with our Favela Chic props scattered around whilst our Carnival coloured banners swayed in the Caribbean breeze (or not).
For a lower key shack feel, our bamboo wall coverings, slatted tables and director’s chairs then transformed us into Safari!
Followed by a quintessentially British tea party with rustic tables and wooden benches, it was the perfect excuse for (more) tea and cake. Overlooking the Enchanted Garden – an up scaled, ever growing popular English Wood look, with greenery intertwined with our Finishing Touches.
We were truly blessed with the weather over the two days. The sun shone over our Pallet Furniture, which allowed our guests to indulge in a cocktail or two, whilst relaxing in the rays.
Speaking of our guests…we had a fantastic mix of clients, suppliers and industry contacts who visited us. We felt very lucky to share such a special couple of days with everyone.
