#WHATSHOT in the Cotswolds…
Longborough Festival Opera is a beautiful Opera House set amongst the peaceful Cotswold Hills between Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. Boasting of a fully equipped performance space, it has soon become renowned for producing world class performances.
Comprising of seating for just 480 people with an orchestra pit for 65 musicians, it is no doubt that this intimate environment has been described as ‘a truly special and unique experience’ by many. And to top this off, during a short break you are invited to dine in style at the venue. Whether you prefer a three course meal in the restaurant, a selection of dishes in the buffet marquee or if you fancy throwing out a blanket and enjoying your very own picnic whilst watching the sun set – Longborough can offer it all!
This weekend, Mozart’s most popular opera (the Marriage of Figaro) described as ‘a sparkling comedy’ is taking place here and there are still tickets left for grabs. With a start time of 5pm #Oasis thinks it’s the perfect end to a busy day exploring the Cotswolds.
