“Oasis Events surpass expectations in creating a memorable backdrop to the Cotswold Life EMI Awards 2016

 Cotswold Life magazine held their Engineering Manufacturing Innovation Awards 2016 in the Centaur room at Cheltenham Racecourse. As these awards are all about creativity we wanted to create our own unique and different feel to the Centaur, as it’s a venue already used for numerous business events.

Hiring Oasis Events as our event managers to transform the room achieved this with huge results.  Not only did they manage the process from conception with their creative ideas, the team were with us right until the last light and curtain drape was in place.

Nicky Godding, Business Editor, said: The whole Oasis team were, as always, totally amazing in their ability to make an anonymous room look creative, different and very exciting. Our guests commented on it and said as well as having the wow factor; it helped set our EMI Awards apart from all the other events which are held there.

This is the second year Cotswold Life has hired Oasis Events and with the challenge of our 2016 venue being even bigger, we were thrilled we did. The Centaur offering 2,600m2 of flexible space, provides the biggest event space in the local region giving organisers accessible, flexible and versatile options.  Oasis Events took this space and transformed it, creating a memorable backdrop to the Cotswold Life EMI Awards 2016.
