Making a film for our Cotswold Party Planning Company

In case you missed it !!!! This week we published a film for our Cotswold Event Planning Company which distills the process of organising 6 months of events that we have run this summer into a 2 minute film.

It was SO MUCH FUN to work on with the fantastic Squashed Robot team: they totally understood from the start that we were looking to create a short, exciting, funky, and emotive film to tell the story of the teamwork, dedication, planning, creativity and FUN that goes into hosting a party or event, all of which translates into the experience had by the guests who attend, and especially the hosts.

We had Lisa and Lex and their cameras by our side for party planning in Cheltenham, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and a party planning meeting in our offices. Their clever Squashed Robot team have put all the content together to highlight the breadth of our event management service – from design, to planning to management. The edit makes the experience look fun and engaging for the client (which it is!) as we prepare, at the same time as hopefully making the point that our meticulous planning and attention to detail ensures that clients relax and enjoy being a guest at their own unique and tailored event.

Even funky and exciting films have to be made short, with the average attention span of a web or social media user being approximately goldfish-length, because we see so much content every day. We were entirely in the video team’s hands for the edit, and were bowled over by now they nailed it in version 1 just a few weeks ago. A few tiny tweaks later and a very patient editing team, we are at Version 13 – yes we’re perfectionists and we love a provocative number! – and we’re really proud to share in on the home page of our website.

If you look the Oasis Events facebook page you’ll see you can win a delicious bottle of bubbles from our award-winning friends – British wine producer Sixteen Ridges. Winner selection from the list of Facebook Sharers takes place on 4th December – don’t miss out!
