We recently had the pleasure of organising a milestone event for De Soutter Medical Ltd. – an outdoor fête-style celebration marking two significant achievements: 35 years of operation and the opening of their new additional building at their expanded site in Aston Clinton, near Aylesbury.

This event, held on Saturday, 22nd June 2024, was all about bringing together staff, partners, and their families for an afternoon of joy and togetherness. Unlike previous company events, which were handled internally, De Soutter Medical Ltd entrusted us with the full creative planning and execution, allowing their leadership team to focus entirely on enjoying the occasion.

A Family-Friendly Celebration with Heart

De Soutter Medical Ltd. wanted this celebration to reflect their core values: a focus on their employees and their loved ones. The event was designed to be a relaxed and fun-filled afternoon rather than an evening or late-night party. Running from 2pm to 6pm, the format catered perfectly to families, ensuring that guests of all ages could join in the festivities.

With 291 guests in attendance, the event was a joyful and memorable way to bring everyone together on-site, celebrating the company's success while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of their newly extended premises.

Creative Event Management – From Concept to Execution

Our role at Oasis Events was to take full responsibility for all aspects of the event, from the initial concept through to on-the-day execution. This freed De Soutter Medical Ltd.'s senior team to relax and focus on their staff, confident that the event was in expert hands.

Our team was present at every step of the way, overseeing everything from the construction of tents and fairground rides to managing the details of decoration, signage, and entertainment. We handled all the logistics, booking and briefing the production team, photographer, magician, band, and childcare services. For the guests, there was no shortage of activities, with shooting ranges, field games, and refreshments aplenty – even a last-minute addition of rosé wine to match the beautiful weather!

One of our key responsibilities was working closely with De Soutter Medical Ltd.'s property manager to ensure that all practical aspects of the event ran smoothly. From setting up power supplies and tent installations to ensuring water availability for the bubble machines, we made sure everything was ready on schedule. Our coordinating event managers were on-site to oversee every detail and ensure that the event unfolded without a hitch, leaving the grounds spotless by sunset.
