Company AGM setup

The Brief

Our client was a travel company with a young workforce.  One of the key events in their internal calendar was the summer staff party held at their Oxfordshire-based headquarters. Staff from the London office were ferried to the Oxfordshire countryside for a fun-focused company annual meeting or AGM, followed by a themed summer staff party. The client asked Oasis to help them deliver this corporate event in conjunction with key stakeholders.

The Solution

Working with multiple stakeholders we delivered the corporate event on budget to rave reviews from staff - both for the AGM and party aspects of the event.

With planning beginning six months before the event, we were able obtain input from different departments and were able to lead budget discussions to ensure that a wide range of age groups within the company were catered for.

Given the number of people and the large space the corporate messaging was delivered via LED video walls and kept succinct, fun and interactive. This was further enabled by the choice of furniture that could be easily moved around for break-out sessions and to clear the main area of the marquee to prepare for the post-AGM party.

We provided event catering throughout the day from multiple service points around the site – with buffet lunch, tea and dinner served "in theme" along with refreshments and a fully-stocked bar for the party after the AGM.

The London office were ferried to and from the event by coach and additional security ensured easy arrival and departure for staff.

We provided our client with a detailed Health and Safety and Event Management Plan with full risk assessments to ensure the 600-person event went without a hitch.
