BANK HOLIDAY FUN #OASISSTYLE

There seems to be so much going on this Bank Holiday weekend in Gloucestershire – and with one extra precious day off, you need to be sure you are spending your day wisely. Do you lie in with a bacon sandwich, a cup of tea and catch up on the mindless TV we all know and love?  Or do you get out and about to take a tour of all the fun things going on in the Cotswold’s? If the answer is yes…Here are a few of Oasis’ suggestions!

EITHER…

Head over to Cheltenham for some good old fashioned Cheese Rolling. Cheese Rolling is expected to make another unofficial comeback this Monday, with spectators flocking from far and wide to see the world-famous sporting action on Cooper’s Hill.

‘Expect plenty of nautical nonsense – and a parrot or two – this May, as Café Rene launches Gloucester’s first Pirate Walk.’ Setting Sail from Café Rene on Saturday 28th May, eye patches, fake parrots and stripy tops are definitely a necessity for a voyage and treasure hunt around Gloucester.

OR…

In true Oasis style, why not start off your day with a refreshing country walk. Head through Naunton – a lovely Cotswold Village, making sure you make an important pit stop at one of our favourite Cotswold pubs – The Black Horse. The homemade Lasagne is a must and the perfect energy boost for the rest of your adventure.

….and relax.
